Equipment Sheet KARTES

Usages concrete in community

KARTES adapts to inventory and intervention tracking across the entire municipal asset base.

Street furniture

Benches, baskets, passenger shelters, posts, barriers, information panels: geolocation, photo, condition, last intervention.

Roads & signage

Vertical and horizontal signage, ground markings, anomalies, reports, scheduled and historical interventions.

Public Lighting

Light points, cabinets, technical equipment, consumption sheets and associated documents (DOE, plans, contracts).

Green spaces

Trees, playgrounds, flower beds, park equipment, health monitoring, pruning, and seasonal interventions.

How it works in 4 steps

From the first sheet to the complete mapping: a progressive rollout, without disruption.

1

Inventory on site

Your agents take a photo, the application geolocates and records the equipment with its type and characteristics.

2

Centralize the data

All cards automatically appear in an interactive map accessible to technical services and elected officials.

3

Follow the interventions

Each operation (repair, replacement, inspection) is recorded with photos, status, and signatories on the form.

4

Pilot and export

Dashboards, CSV/GeoJSON exports, sharing with service providers: the data belongs to you and remains accessible.

Questions FAQ

Everything you need to know before deployment KARTES in your community.

KARTES does it display the cadastre and protected areas?
Yes. KARTES natively integrates 27 official layers: DGFiP cadastral data, administrative boundaries, Natura 2000, ZNIEFF, classified sites, PPRN, IGN aerial photography, gas and electricity networks, etc. The administrator of your space selects the activated layers, each agent displays them according to their needs. No prior GIS work required.
KARTES is it suitable for small towns?
Yes. The Discovery plan is free for life, without a credit card, and includes 3 users and 500 mapped items. Ideal for municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants who want to start their urban furniture or public lighting inventory without commitment.
KARTES is it referenced in the UGAP?
Yes, KARTES is listed on the UGAP (Union des Groupements d'Achats Publics), which allows local authorities to purchase without prior public procurement procedures. Your procurement services can place orders directly through the central platform.
Where are the community data stored?
All data is hosted in France (Paris region) with AWS, in strict compliance with the GDPR. Communications are encrypted with TLS, passwords hashed with bcrypt, and each community has a strictly isolated space. No data transfer outside the European Union.
Should the agents be trained to use KARTES ?
No. The interface is intentionally minimalist, without technical jargon. Data entry is done through photos and drop-down menus, making it accessible to non-technical staff. Getting started takes just a few minutes. An online guide and video tutorials are available.
KARTES does it work without an internet connection?
Yes, the application is designed with an offline-first approach. Creating records, taking photos, filling out forms, and capturing signatures work without a network connection. As soon as a connection is detected, synchronization occurs automatically in the background. Your agents can work everywhere, including in dead zones or underground areas.
Can an existing inventory (Excel, GeoJSON, GIS) be imported?
Yes. KARTES accepts CSV, Excel, and GeoJSON imports. Our team supports municipalities in migrating from a spreadsheet, an existing GIS, or another asset management software, without data loss.
Can data be shared with external service providers?
Yes. You can create dedicated access for service providers (tree trimmers, electricians, road maintenance) with limited permissions: they can only view or intervene on the elements that concern them, without seeing the rest of the assets.
How much does it cost KARTES for a community?
The Discovery plan is free. Paid plans start at an affordable rate for small municipalities and scale according to the number of users and equipment. Request a customized quote: we tailor the offer to the size of your community and your scope.
How to cancel the subscription?
Cancellation is done with a single click from your administrator space, without notice or fees. Your data remains accessible until the end of the current period, then exportable in CSV, Excel, or GeoJSON. No data loss, no hidden commitments.
